The outcome of the elections of this Sunday of july, 5th , 2015, clearly shows that the Greek people don’t wants their country as a mere slave of the economy that dictates the International Monetary Fund ( IMF), and Germany allows. Europe for the Europeans!

    • Suicides increased by 45 percent during the first four years of Greece’s financial crisis. Hi Lea, I’m glad for your interest about this subject. I think the important thing is to worry about the collective affairs. In my opinion the matter Greece, hides many more facts and ideas reaching many countries. It is not that the Greeks are heroes. The blog post is just an excuse to show a fantastic sketch by Rodin. But I think the choice of greek people, punishes the western economies and is a reason to shake this economic system governed and guarded by the institutions created by US after World War II. In my opinion without changes there is no progress, but ‘no pain, no gain’. Thanks for your comment.

  3. I’m with Fantabulea — edge of my seat, watching the crisis in Greece, don’t know what to think. Sides lining up, spouting as much hatred as we saw before the start of World War II. Northern Europeans saying the Greeks are lazy, Greeks saying the Northern Europeans are enslaving them. Rules written to benefit Germany, but Greece lobbied to join anyway. Greece hid its debt to join (with the help of Goldman Sachs), but banks loaned to them anyway. I can’t imagine Greece being able to keeping using the Euro, but my imagination might not be big enough.

    • Hi J. B., I’m sorry for my delay. First of all, thanks for your comment and for your manifest your opinion, but as I told to Lea, I don’t want this site could to become in a meeting point to discuss political matters. This post is my personal solidary celebration with the greek population who says ‘no’. Loyal with my beliefs I’ll always be beside the poor brother and also beside the people that thinks why Europe are spending the so expensive aid to a Ukrainian government that overturned the former president voted. I’ll never say that southern or northern people are better or worst, maybe I should to excuse towards germans but That’s only a question of ideas, I’m glad because a country has unmasked the rules of the capital games in Europe. Now the Greeks they can to say ‘You will conquer, but you will not convince’.
In my opinion this will bring serious consequences for history. Now the rivals of euro could be happy. Who destabilize Europe?

  4. What a beautiful sketch….when I started following your blog I started my interest in sketches as well. They are so beautiful and delicate ….With a few lines all is revealed… ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Dear Mirna, you have said key adjectives: ‘beautiful and delicate’ because the lines aided with touches of watercolor from the works of Rodin, are full of sensuality. They are made quickly but with the minimum pressure, as a caress of the drawing over the paper, sliding the pencil on a imagined space. Thanks a million for your wise and expert comment. See you soon. xo ๐Ÿ˜‰
