Tu elección es para una acuarela muy contrastada, como también suelen ser los óleos de este autor. Los oscuros casi llegan el negro que suele ser tabú para muchos acuarelistas.
Realmente el trato que le da a la obra conviene con el paisaje agreste. Las manchas que describen el cielo realmente son un presagio de la abstracción que en ese momento todavía era desconocida. Su impetuoso toque de pincel evoca las nubes con una espontaneidad impresionante. Gracias por tu visita, y muchas gracias por opinar. Saludos cordiales ❤

¡Es preciosa la recopilación! Sin duda me quedé maravillada nada más ver la primera imagen, la pintura de Constable, pero el cielo McNeil no se queda atrás. Y la de Ruskin también me encanta porque aunque ha sabido captar la belleza de una futura tormenta… No se, ahora que lo pienso tal vez soy muy clásica en mis elecciones jajaja

Hola Sara, en casi todos las materias, a lo que ha persistido en el tiempo le llamamos algo clásico. Quizá sea una forma de garantizar una mínima calidad, pero con tu permiso creo que tus elecciones sobre todo son de preferencia para lo abstracto.
