Una magnífica escogencia. Se me hace difícil un preferido. Por supuesto, Gauguin, Matisse y Delacroix magníficos. Dinnet y Fortuny conmueven. Gracias.

The Matisse portrait is particularly striking – I had not come across this picture before. What a lovely collection of pictures very inspiring and a delightful blog.

The best known of the Matisse drawings are usually his lines. But this work shows that also dominated the hues to depict the volume shapes. He had his preferences but was very complete in all facets of an immense artist. Thanks for your wise and friendly comment. xoxo
