Last week was a terrible time for me and my family because my dad suffered from a mild stroke/heart attack and was confined at the hospital for five days. For the first two days, he was confused and disoriented. It broke my heart to see him like that because he has always been so active and so animated despite being already 70 years of age. I got my passion for reading from him and you’ll probably won’t believe me but I did convince him to read Hunger Games, Divergent and the likes. He’s home now and he’s recovering very well. Why I had to share this is because during the days I didn’t know what to do, the magic of reading once again worked its miracles on me.
