What Do We Leave To The Imagination?

🎈🎈🎈POWER TO THE IMAGINATION ! HAVE A NICE DAY ✨✨✨

Katie Kuo

tumblr_o82npxohn61qz6f9yo3_1280A beautiful quote from Rei Kawakubo “For something to be beautiful, it doesn’t have to be pretty”. HI SISTERS, SOMETIMES THE SNEAKERS MAKE OUR LIVES COMFY AND SOMETIMES WATERCOLORS MAKE OUR LIVES WONDERFUL. THANKS FOR YOUR VISITS AND HAPPY WEEKEND🍀🍀🍀

THE MERMAIDS PURSE

The Mermaids’ Purse is running from blogging for the month of May but I will schedule a picture post for every Saturday so you won’t miss me too much…

This one, Runners, I painted after I rushed into the house and kicked off my runners because I was in a hurry. The colours looked so good I had to stop and paint them.

See it and more on my Etsy Shop

The first idea I had was to cover the Gi in patches, using the ones I had made previously. However, due to time constraints, I had to abandon this idea, and I aimed more toward the second idea, which was fabric painting the individual figures. Doing it this way saved me a lot of time. I did have an idea of combining the two methods, but I found there were too many colours, being red, pink, yellow, black and gold, and it just didn’t work as well. So I went with idea 2.

The next thing I decided on were the colours. I wanted…
