Hello! Recently I did a commission for my friend of one of her characters. Usually I don’t take this many steps to draw a picture but when drawing my friends characters I want to put in a little more effort.

First thing I did was to ask for references and addition details, like what colours various things are and if there are any specifics they wanted included. my friend provided me with these images and some extra details which were super helpful!

I found some references online as well which I thought would be suitable. These are some pose and clothing references I liked. The character is a wind elemental so I thought I could draw him casting magic or wielding his sword.
