The opening of the exhibition Manifesto of Stillness / Hiljaisuuden manifesti at the Hyvinkää Art Museum gathered over 180 guests. The five artists of the exhibition are Jukka Korkeila, Anni Löppönen, Ville Löppönen, Henry Wuorila-Stenberg and Ulla Karttunen.

Ulla Karttunen: Donna Criminale (2018)

At the Hyvinkää Art Museum, the installation Donna Criminale is presented as a high (about six meters high, from a ceiling about 8 meters) version. Behind the toilet paper madonna, two red works by Ulla are from series depicting the passion of Jeanne d’Arc.

In addition to displaying contemporary art, The Hyvinkää Art Museum presents important Finnish painters like Helene Schjerfbeck and Yrjö Saarinen. In the last image, artist Ulla Karttunen with Saarinen’s expressionist works.
