Outfit

✏ 📋 HELLO HONEYS, WE ALREADY CAN TAKE A PENCIL AND THINKING ABOUT THE OUTFITS OF NEXT SEASONS.

Argentoblu

Doodling for sanity……

📰🎨 HI DARLINGS! TODAY WE’VE GOT A WONDERFUL EXAMPLES BY JANET. SOME YEARS AGO I ALSO SKETCHED ON NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES. TRY IT, IS A FUNNY AND AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

My Life as an Artist (2)

Yes, it’s been a strange year.     For anyone trying to juggle work, look after children, and manage challenging finances or is worried sick about losing their job….DOODLING for SANITY can help regardless of what age you are and what you might be experiencing – and it costs nothing.

Some ideas:-

watercolour in paperback book…..

20200325_150333

For those who are scared to mark a new piece of paper, or for that matter don’t have any paper – I suggest using newspaper, wrapping paper, envelopes or inexpensive rolls of wallpaper lining, – or maybe as shown above, playing with a well read paperback book….Why Not?

I recommend warming up and playing/doodling a little every day.      This will keep the creative juices flowing and is very calming.       Even if you do this for fifteen minutes a day you will feel better and it will benefit anything else you do…

Glorious Golds aka another Pelican!

🐟 🏊 WELL DARLINGS, MELANIE HAS A LOT OF GENUINE WORKS. THIS TIME WITH A GENUINE BIRD LIKE A PELICAN. ENJOY THE NEXT SPLASH !

Melanie Franz

Another prompt for #WorldWatercolorMonth was Glorious Golds.

I absolutely love how the pelican turned out! I think you can expect more of them in future. The girl was planing to catch the Golden Snitch while hanging in the hoop. Then she got distracted by the pelican, and fed him fish instead.

And why is there a hoop hanging over the water you might ask? Well, if you fall, you fall soft.

Lockdown Diaries – Art – Places I wish to go

⚓ 🎒 🐚 OH DEARS, WHAT WONDERFUL PLACE. I WANT TO GO THERE.

Eúnoia

Hello everybody,

I hope you’re doing fine. Its been raining all day yesterday and today I woke up to the sound of the rains for a second day. The sound of the rains reminds me of my grandmother’s home – dark skies, a constant buzz like crackling fire as the drops hit the ground. With the lockdown stretched up to the end of July I have been travelling places through my paintings.

Here is what I did as part of my pen and wash attempts to improve my skill-

wp-15932454224992695287182261640224.jpg

This place has been on my bucket list since 2017. My sister and I were supposed to travel together – it would be our real first international holiday together. We were pretty excited about it – my teenage girls’ even started planning their wardrobe. I even went on a healthy diet just so I look good in the pictures against the…

Day 77 at Home: George Floyd

PLEASE LET’S UNMASK AMERICAN SYSTEM. A GIANT LIE !

Sketch Away: Travels with my sketchbook

This is who I’m thinking of today as protests happen, violence breaks out and the news moves to reporting them. The right and wrong of these actions is easier to turn to, to think about, and to report. But I wanted to paint this portrait to try and stay in thinking how unimaginably and wrongly huge this loss is, and what it must feel like to those who knew and loved this man.

This we all agree on: George Floyd should not have died. It’s especially important to hang on to that and remember a human being who was killed unjustly. There are deep-rooted problems around race to grapple with, consider, and discuss. Because the difficult stuff we avoid speaking of is what never gets solved and comes back. Again and again and again.

RIP George Floyd.

Bronte’s Mistress by Finola Austin

📚👀 HELLO LOVELIES! LET’S OBSERVE BOOKS COVERS. SOMETIMES WE WILL FIND GOOD ART.

Pirate Patty Reviews

Bronte's MistressThis dazzling debut novel for fans of Mrs. Poe and Longbourn explores the scandalous historical love affair between Branwell Brontë and Lydia Robinson, giving voice to the woman who allegedly corrupted her son’s innocent tutor and brought down the entire Brontë family.

This is a tale of Branwell Bronte and Lydia Robinson, the mistress of Thorp Green Hall. It is 1843 in Yorkshire and Lydia has suffered not one but two devastating losses this year. Her mother and her youngest daughter.

She doesn’t get much sympathy from her husband, who all but ignores her and the children, and to be honest, she isn’t a very sympathetic character.

She already has one Bronte sister tutoring her teenage daughters but now has hired a tutor for her only son. And Branwell is the lucky chap. Down on his own luck, at loose ends and fighting his own demons while dealing with his…

Faerie's Alley

Hello everyone, writing a blog post after a long time. Hope you all are fine, stay home and safe.

The-Help-NetflixMovie Summary:

Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, Skeeter (Stone) is a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends’ lives — and a Mississippi town — upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families.
