Who are you and what do you make or do? Sandra Wyman: maker, artist, political activist, retired teacher, Argentine tango dancer.  Introverted, passionate, bipolar. I make art quilts and mixed media pieces.  I also draw and paint.
Who are your main influences? Not so much who as what.  Whilst I love many artists – amongst them textile artist Jo Budd, painter Mark Rothko, and sculptor Peter Randall Page – my chief influences are natural forms and patterns, and words, especially poetry.

Where might we have come across your work before? I’ve taken part in group exhibitions with textile groups Contemporary Quilt, Etcetera, and Cwilt Cymru, recently at Stockport Art Gallery, Macclesfield Silk Museum and Minerva Arts Centre in Llanidloes.
