Padam Vintage Review

✏📋👚👗WELL SISTERS ! I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE DESIGNED THESE DRESSES, BUT I HAD NOT BEEN BORN YET 😁

The Pretty and The Kitsch

I recently bought two fabulous vintage dresses from Padam Vintage, and thought I would write a little review of both the dresses and the shop itself!

My dresses arrived quickly, safely packaged in a box, with the dresses carefully wrapped in paper and an adorable gift from Granny’s Dishcloths! The dresses were exactly as described and Kyle, the owner of Padam Vintage, was great to do business with and was so helpful and kind!

And the dresses, oh my gosh, the dresses! I love these dresses so much!

The first is a very 1920’s inspired paisley dress from the 1960’s by Charlene Creations. I absolutely love this dress, it’s so much fun to wear and has such incredible movement — perfect for dancing or just swishing around the home feeling fabulous and glamorous! The fabric seems to be polyester or a polyester blend, but it’s so much nicer than…

Day 65 – A Little Woman Collage

💞 WELL DEARS! THE COLLAGES ARE MADE WITH PIECES OF OUR REAL LIFE.

Amy J. Yun Art

I had gathered some pieces I liked, and then put the woman under the sunflower. I liked the perspective that was almost like Alice in wonderland. I used some paper I found with Little Women, playing on the title for my piece of a little woman.

We’re All Broken Pieces Floating by*

HELLO LOVELIES! THIS POST BY KATHY IS REMINDING THAT ART HAVE NO LIMITS.

Kathy Nida

Really, brain? Once again, the night before I have to be up early for school, you decide that being completely wired and overthinky is the way to go, that sleep is just something for the weak. Rough for me, because Friday night wasn’t the best sleep night either. So I went to bed early Saturday to try to help, because I had to be up and out relatively early Sunday…but then the dogs got me up even earlier. UGH. Sleep. I wish it were easier. I really suck at it.

It’s interesting, because one of the things we’re supposed to talk about at our two-hour staff meeting today is teacher self care…but it’s my job that kept me up last night and Friday night. So. There’s that. Meditation. More of it.

That said, I got a lot done this weekend, all this pissy shit that needed doing: I graded two…

Luna

🐶🌛THEY VERY OFTEN CAN TEACH US WITH THEIR BEHAVIOUR.

Artsy Ally V.

Luna, 2019, Pen and watercolor on watercolor paper, 12 x 9 inches

Dogs are amazing. I really just love dogs. They’re so sweet and they’re just so pure and faithful. I have lived with five dogs over my nineteen years of life, and currently I live with three of those five. This painting is in honor of my incredibly cute and photogenic pup, Luna.

Luna the Ultimatedoodle

This little cutie is an “Ultimatedoodle” which is a mix of labradoodle and goldendoodle. She is amazingly cute and playful and ridiculously cuddly. This was my first ever attempt to paint one of my dogs (or any dogs for that matter), and I’m really excited about it! All the little loose, flyaway hairs capture her carefree nature perfectly. Hopefully I’ll have more dog paintings done soon!

This piece is available now in my shop! Just click the image to get started!
