Finished Faking, More Baking

I finished faking Friday’s faux Hockney, that’s about 4 hours in all. I’m not a painter, I much prefer drawing and printmaking. If I’m honest, to me, painting is like colouring in. I know painters will be outraged, but once I’ve done the drawing, that’s the creative bit over for me. But, doing these weekly paintings has been good practice and kept me occupied through the pandemic.

I also made a couple of rhubarb crumbles. I’m taking the big crumble to family for their tea and the smaller one is for Husb. He takes no prisoners when it comes to crumble.

The rhubarb in the garden is HUGE! It’s like a rhubarb jungle out there.

Meine Freude hätte nicht größer sein können, als ich die Einladung bekam, für den neuen Musikerkalender 2021, der von dem Benkel Verlag aus Berlin herausgegeben wird, wieder einen Beitrag beisteuern zu dürfen!
Da musste ich nicht lange überlegen und sagte natürlich begeistert zu.
Ganz klar.
Denn dieser einfallsreiche Wandschmuck ist eine feine Sache für alle, die sich Monat für Monat einen ganz besonderen Musiker oder eine famose Musikerin in Erinnerung rufen wollen.
In dieser Kalender-Serie, genannt „Die wilden Dreizehn“, finden sich Künstler zusammen, die auf ganz eigene und persönliche, kreative Art und Weise – gemalt, gezeichnet, geschnitten oder collagiert – auf einem Kalenderblatt einem geschätzten Musiker/in die Ehre erweisen möchten.

Buondì miei cari, ma soprattutto buon inizio di settimana, oggi vi propongo un accessorio che per molti è un’arma di seduzione… usato in modo sexy ha fatto capitolare molti uomini, oggi però il tanto amato tacco è stato rivisitato in una maniera diversa, originale e un po’… come dire, utilizzando il linguaggio dei sommelier… “ha un gusto rotondo” 😂😂😂 ma oltre alla rotondità, trovo originale la conchiglia al suo interno o un petalo di rosa. E a voi piace? Gradite questo tipo di tacco? Sono curiosa di conoscere i vostri commenti.
