Finished Faking, More Baking

😋 HI DEARS! TODAY WE ARE WITH A PERFECT LANDSCAPE: ROSIE, HOCKNEY AND HER DELICIOUS CRUMBLE. THANKS SO MUCH, ARTISTS!

Hockney 3

I finished faking Friday’s faux Hockney, that’s about 4 hours in all. I’m not a painter, I much prefer drawing and printmaking. If I’m honest, to me, painting is like colouring in. I know painters will be outraged, but once I’ve done the drawing, that’s the creative bit over for me. But, doing these weekly paintings has been good practice and kept me occupied through the pandemic.

I also made a couple of rhubarb crumbles. I’m taking the big crumble to family for their tea and the smaller one is for Husb. He takes no prisoners when it comes to crumble.

The rhubarb in the garden is HUGE! It’s like a rhubarb jungle out there.

Why not join in with Ed Sumner’s Cheese and Wine Painting Club on Friday lunchtimes. It’s free or a donation if you can afford it. Next week is Turner’s The Fighting Temeraire.

Mein Beitrag für den neuen Musiker-Kalender 2021 “Die wilden Dreizehn”:  der Blues-Musiker Leo Bud Welch

Ran ans Werk!

Butterflies, flowers and hearts.

👕 🎨 HI SUGARS! DON’T YOU LIKE BUTTERFLIES ? SO, TRY TO SKETCH YOUR OWN ONE!

lines and colors story

Now that I have experience with colors for textiles and cotton clothes, I decided that I should  keep my style of making presents for people I care about, and be original as usually.

My friend Irina loves butterflies, flowers and hearts – this shirt I painted for her:

👠 HELLO BEAUTIES! TODAY WE’VE GOT THIS SMALL SCULPTURE INTO THESE ARTISTICAL HEELS. AMAZING!

Argentoblu

E a voi piace? Gradite questo tipo di tacco? Sono curiosa di conoscere i vostri commenti.

I got bored and painted my jacket

👗 👚 👕 🎨 WELL DEARS, IT’S TIME TO SKETCH ON OUR CLOTHES. LET’S TRY IT!

It's Indi

Here we are with yet another instalment of clothing that I have painted out of pure boredom!

It has gotten to the point where I have nearly run out of clothing to paint and upcycle so my Mum actually ended up giving me this old jacket of hers to transform into something new! Cheers Mum!

If you have seen my previous upcycling projects such as my funky painted dungarees (which you can see HERE) then you will know that I tend to go for an 80s inspired print to showcase my love of the decade. However with this I wanted to challenge myself to do something a little bit different from my typical style.

I literally spent hours on Pinterest, creating so many new boards and endlessly scrolling through pins for inspiration. I never just paint directly onto something, I always sketch out ideas beforehand. I had so many…
