Layered Clay Pendant [Polymer clay Tutorial ]

👂💖👂💖 WELL DEARS, DIY AND LET’S PUT FLOWERS ON OUR EARRINGS. IT’S A DESIGN BY ARTIST MIHAELA, FROM FRANCE.

Learn Polymer Clay

Hello dear friends!

I’ve started this year filled with creative energy and a huge desire to create. I hope that you’re having a great start in 2020 and that you’ll make the best of this year as it comes to expressing your creativity through your medium of choice.

And here’s my first tutorial of this year. A layered clay pendant finished with UV resin. And you don’t really need a lot of tools to apply this technique in your work. Two colors of clay, a stamp (for me floral stamps worked very well for this technique) and a sharp rigid blade is all you need. Apart from the roller or the pasta machine and of course, the oven and the oven thermometer (which is recommended). I used metal leaf in silver color because I like a little sparkle on my pieces, but you can skip this part.

Two souls while blogging – Donna Fleischer

🚣 EVEN IF WE DON’T KNOW WHERE WE GO TO, WE ARE ALWAYS ROWING. IMAGINE YOUR DESTINY.

vengodalmare

“we can!” she writes to this other hemisphere where I am who — immediately distracted by that insurgence —
lets the coffee grow cold, drinks it anyway and feels warmth

blood pressures rise with apprehension of silence of pure wanting, wanting to be swallowed by that gorgeous everchanging ocean being,

don’t cry I cry to myself. think of Jabès, the moon,
how you dare to fall to love with her different continent without the popular nihilism of Wim Wenders, no; her Paul Celan. […]

Daily drawing practice

🍉 📋 WELL BEAUTIES, AS WE HAVE MEALS EVERY DAY, WE ALSO MUST DRAW EVERY DAY. THE MOTIF IS ALWAYS SO CLOSE.

Enviroart by Suzanne Bélair, IAF, AFC

A long time ago, I read that the daily practice of painting or drawing was a great way to improve creativity, imagination and production.  I even ordered a book about it a couple years ago with the intention of starting a daily painting practice and stick to it.

Alas, this did not happen and just as writing every day improves your writing tremendously, painting every day defines your style after a while and something interesting emerges.

I finally took the plunge with drawing last week and am hoping to continue the practice for one year.

The year 2019 was busy and crazy and there came a point when I had to empty my studio and put my art on hold. This practice will get me back into it. I have been posting these explorations every day on my Instagram account.

The first series of drawings is all about food…

What’s Cooking in Gail’s Kitchen? Timeless Classics: Mint Leaf Peach Salad! Sliced peaches with creamy goat cheese medallions, OMG! This delightful salad is ideal for a light lunch, an afternoon brunch, or an early dinner. Indulging in the sweet tangy taste of a ripe, plump peach mixed with the nutty crunch of sugared pecans wrapped around medallions of earthy herbed goat cheese is like taking a bath in a tub of dairy rich cream. At first bite, you won’t mind being pampered. The fresh mint leaf garnish is like icing on a cake.

I love drawing food because I love to eat, but I don’t know why I sketch vegetables here since I don’t eat veggies. I’d just go for the bread.
