Healthy Desserts That Are Keeping Me Sane In The Lockdown

🐼 🍽️ HI BEAUTIES, YOU CAN BE AN ARTIST AND A ALSO A ‘SWEET TOOTH’ TOO. SO HERE ARE SOME TIPS BY PANDA.

Happy Panda

I have an insane sweet tooth – I need to eat something sweet every day else I feel like my day isn’t going well. With India being in a lockdown again, I have been binge eating and eating junk more than I do on a regular basis. So to ensure that I don’t go crazy eating unhealthy sweets every day, I have discovered a few healthy, quick to put together desserts that use the natural sweetness of fruits to satisfy my cravings. These recipes require minimal ingredients and are so easy to make that a novice to cooking can do it too. Additionally, they are all eggless and can be customized to be vegan as well. Here are my go-to recipes –

Eggless Goey Chocolate Mug Cake (Vegan)

The Easiest 2 Minute Mug Cake Ever · i am a food blog

This is my go to dessert these days. It takes less than 5 minutes to make and is so so decadent!

Mackerel

🐡 🐚 WELL LOVELIES, MAYBE IS AN UGLY FISH, BUT HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS.

Diaspora Therapies

Mackerel

line no sooner down than taut

shadow silvering into air
desperate fruit all wriggle

and twitch snapped off
slapped in a plastic crate

fading to layers of leaves
knives out guts chucked

to an instant coven of gulls
heads scarfed whole

sea a boil of snatch and scream
fillets home in a bucket

fried in their own oil
all night my head full

of saltwater skin sun
flesh feather beak bone

RELAXING IS RELATIVE…

🍅❤️🍅 WELL BEAUTIES, TOMATOES ARE ONE OF MY PASSIONS ON A DISH AND THIS WORK IS SO GREAT AND GENUINE.

Jots from a Small Apt.

STEWED TOMATOES

Not a joiner. Never liked to stand out. Always stood at the rear of the crowd. Invites to parties, celebratory showers…even my own bridal shower…were angst ridden. The Mother said, “You have to go to this one…and maybe one more.” There you have it. Rinse. Repeat. Rinse. Repeat. Probably a control thing.

My Reader wants to know what this has to do with anything. It has to do with that control thing. You think?

Tara Leaver, Cornwall, England artist, counselor, art instructor, my wanna-be best friend, issued a free drawing workshop via Email and Instagram titled #freeupyourart . A weeks worth of drawing lessons boiled down to basic Beginning 101 Drawing lessons to….free up your art. Simple. Exercises that should alleviate the absolute, carved in stone, no questions asked need to control every movement of the pen or brush. The creative part of…well, free-flowing, spontaneous creative-ness. Shuffs…
